Emily Kopp is an associate attorney with a wide range of legal experience. Prior to law school, Ms. Kopp graduated early with honors in only three short years from the University of Kentucky. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a double minor in English and Criminology. Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law was the next stop on her journey, receiving her Juris Doctorate in May 2020.
Prior to her private practice experience, Ms. Kopp served under Judge Mary DeBoer in Porter County, Indiana. She then transitioned into government work at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office in the Appellate Division.
Since graduating law school in 2020, Ms. Kopp has solely been in private practice. She has already successfully written an appellate brief and won a civil appeal as a first-year associate. Ms. Kopp has served as lead counsel on two criminal jury trials and several family and civil bench trials. She focuses on business litigation, civil litigation, personal injury, family law, and criminal law.
Ms. Kopp is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana and is in good standing.
